Biografia:: Mamoru Miyano nasce in Giappone, nella prefettura di Saitama. Inizia a lavorare come doppiatore nel 1990 e qualche anno dopo presta la voce a Riku, personaggio della saga videoludica Kingdom Hearts, grazie al quale acquisisce la prima notorietà. Nel 2006 presta la voce a Light Yagami in Death note e riceve due nominations ai Seiyuu Awards, vincendone però uno solo l'anno successivo, grazie ai ruoli di Setsuna F. Seiei (Mobile Suit Gundam 00) e Hakugen Rikuson (Koutetsu Sangokushi). Miyano si dedica anche in minima parte alla televisione, apparendo nel 2008 nel drama The Quiz Show, nel 2003 prende parte al musical di Prince of Tennis e nel 2009 presta la voce a Ultraman Zero nel suo ultimo film dedicato, Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie, mentre nel 2010 recita nel film Wonderful World, diretto dal collega doppiatore Daisuke Namikawa. Cantante e ballerino, Mamoru Miyano debutta nel mondo della musica nel 2007, con il singolo Kuon, sotto etichetta King Records; prosegue la carriera di cantante rilasciando nel 2009 il suo primo album, Break, che all'uscita si posiziona in ventesima posizione nella classifica Oricon. La sua carriera musicale prosegue di pari passo con quella di doppiatore e nel 2012, alla sesta cerimonia dei Seiyuu Awards, assieme ai colleghi del gruppo ST☆RISH (Takuma Terashima, Hiro Shimono, Junichi Suwabe, Kenichi Suzumura e Kishou Taniyama), viene premiato per Best Musical Performance. Nel 2014 vince invece nella categoria Best Song. Alla tredicesima edizione degli Award si piazza invece al secondo posto nella nuova categoria Most Valuable Seiyuu, dietro Hiroshi Kamiya e davanti a Tomoaki Maeno. E' il primo doppiatore maschio ad aver tenuto un concerto personale al Budokan. Sposato dal 2008 e padre di un bambino, ha come hobby il calcio e il canto.
